Christina qualified to practise as a barrister in England after her legal studies at Queen Mary College (Centre for Commercial Law Studies), University of London, England and her call to the English Bar. She is also qualified to practise as a barrister as well as a solicitor in New Zealand, Australia and Malaysia. Christina has practised law in New Zealand and overseas.
After working in private legal practice for several years she left New Zealand in 1997 to work for a number of multi-national corporations in in-house legal and management roles, where she gained invaluable experience working on corporate acquisitions and multinational cross border transactions. She returned to private legal practice in New Zealand in 2003.
Christina specialises in areas involving corporate and business laws. She enjoys assisting clients on commercial transactions, such as company mergers and acquisitions, corporate debt restructuring, initial public offerings (IPO), joint ventures, oil and gas transactions and international trade. She also works extensively in the areas of trusts, commercial leases and in matters involving investment in and acquisition of companies, forests and farms and other real estate properties.
Christina believes in sharing her legal knowledge with the communities in Auckland. She is a trusted advisor and speaker for banks and real estate agencies and regularly produce articles on areas of law of interest to the public.
Christina speaks several languages fluently. These include English, Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese. She has travelled extensively and her clients comprised of people of many different nationalities and cultures.
